WHERE WE PLAY

WHERE WE PLAY

Games for all divisions and home games for our Travel Team are all played at Wormwood Scrubs (Scrubs) playing fields, located in Hammersmith & Fulham Council (H&F Council), next to Linford Christie Stadium, where there are changing facilities and bathrooms. We are located off of Du Cane Road in Hammersmith, the entrance to the playing fields is via a very small road (almost a long driveway) called Artillery Road. Artillery Road is off of Du Cane Road and adjacent to Hammersmith Hospital. The post code is W12 0DF.  We are located 10 minutes from Westfield Shopping Mall in London.

During our games there will be a League Desk set-up on the field and representatives available to assist you.

NOTE:  You can refer to the H & F Council website to plan your trip and about information relating to traffic/parking alerts and events in or around the Scrubs. http://www.lbhf.gov.uk/

How to get to us by car

To get to the Scrubs by car, the easiest access is via the West-way Motorway (A40). If you are coming from the east (central London), exit at Wood Lane (this is the same exit one takes to get to Shepherd's Bush) and proceed north on Wood Lane one hundred yards. Du Cane Road is the first left and Artillery Road is a right hand turn off Du Cane two minutes further along. If you are coming from the west (as if you were heading towards central London), exit left at Savoy Circus onto Old Oak Common Lane; make the first right onto Du Cane Road; and then the 4th left onto Artillery Lane. Du Cane can also be reached by driving south on Scrubs Lane from Willesden.

NOTE: Travel time to the Scrubs from Parliament Square (SW1) and St. John's Wood  Tube Stop (NW1) by car, is a 20 minute car ride.

Parking

There is limited parking at the end of driving up Artillery Road. Please read all the signs carefully as to whether you have to pay or not to park i.e., usually parking is free on the weekends but subject to change. Reminder, please lock your car and do not leave any valuables in your car (as you do so at your own risk).

How to get to us by Tube and Bus

The fields are also easily accessible by tube. The nearest stop is a East Acton on the Central Line which is a five minute walk away from the fields. To get to the fields by bus take either Number 7 or Number 70 bus or any bus that goes towards Hammersmith Hospital. Refer to Transport in London's website for information to plan your trip http://www.tfl.gov.uk
