Basketball is fun for any age!

LondonSports Basketball offers six different divisions for children aged 7 to 14 (American 2nd to 8th grade). Generally, each division has a practice sesion or clinic on Saturday and a game on Sunday. As the 2nd Grade Co-Ed division is more instructional in nature, this division has a single session on Saturdays only.

2nd Grade Co-Ed Division is for boys and girls aged 7 - 8 years old. This is an instructional division and the emphasis will be on teaching skills rather than teams and games.

Girls 3rd - 5th Grade Division is for girls aged 8-10 years. They will have less playing experience and the sessions are 90 minutes in length. The first 30 minutes is devoted to skill development while the remaining hour is a game. However, league standings are not kept as the emphasis in this group is on understanding the game and building a strong skill base.

Boys 3rd - 4th Grade Division is for boys aged 8 - 9 years. They will have less playing experience and the sessions are 90 minutes in length. Girls 6th - 8th Grade Division is for girls aged 11 - 13 years. This is a competitive league. Participants should have a reasonable understanding of basketball and be committed to playing each week. There is a 30-minute practice session and then a game, with referees.

Boys 5th - 6th Grade Division is for boys aged 10 - 11 years. This is a competitive league. Participants should have a reasonable understanding of basketball and be committed to playing each week. There is a 30-minute practice session and then a game, with referees.

Boys 7th - 8th Grade Division is for boys aged 12 - 13 years. This is a competitive league. Participants should have a reasonable understanding of basketball and be committed to playing each week. There is a 30-minute practice session and then a game, with referees.
