LEAGUES OF PLAY
Tee-Ball (co-ed) -  ages 5 – 6
This is a developmental division for girls and boys. The basic fundamentals of hitting, base running, fielding, and the rules of the game are introduced to a young player. There is no pitching; rather a player (batter) hits off a “T” (a stationary device whereby a baseball rests until hit). Teams play against each other but all games are “Friendlies” (i.e. no games count in the standings). Everyone bats and plays. There are no set innings for a game rather everyone plays within a certain allotted time period.

Coaches focus on providing further support by discussing playing insights (what players look for and where they field when playing). Coaches pitch to the batters and batters begin to be introduced to live pitching. Batters are given ample opportunity to hit and coaches work on hitters not being afraid of the ball and building their self confidence to hit. Travel Team
Travel team members, divided by age group, are selected through evaluations and tryouts of players registered in our Baseball (Minors, Majors, Boys 16U) and Softball (Junior Girls, Senior Girls, Girls 18U) leagues. We play against other British clubs. Away games are played on the road and home games are played at Wormwood Scrubs on the weekend, but without interfering with our regular season's games. For baseball, we compete in all age groups in the Little League Tournament in June and the British Baseball Federation (BBF) Youth Championships in September, as well as tournaments abroad.

For players selected for this team, there will be an additional fee.
