This is a development division for girls and boys. The fundamentals (hitting, base running, fielding, and the rules) of the game are emphasised to players.

 

Coaches focus on providing further support by discussing playing insights (what players look for and where they field when playing). Coaches pitch to the batters and batters begin to be introduced to live pitching.

 

Batters are given ample opportunity to hit and coaches work on hitters not being afraid of the ball and building their self confidence to hit. Teams play against each other but all games are “Friendlies” (i.e. no games count in the standings). Everyone bats and plays. There are no set innings for a game rather everyone plays within a certain allotted time period.
