This is a competitive division for girls and boys.

 

The fundamentals (hitting, base running, fielding, and the rules) of the game are emphasised to players. Players (pitchers) pitch to one another in a competitive 6 innings game on a 42ftx60ft diamond. An umpire is used to call balls and strikes.

 

Players learn how to compete; the emphasis is to build pitching and a player’s maturity on how to compete, but we highlight sportsmanship. Games count in the standings. Before each game there is a minimum of one-hour practice and then a competitive game is played.
